Restaurant your Home is the creation of experienced chef Miro Martinez. The idea is simple. Next time you treat your other half or friends to a special meal, Martinez can transform your home into your favourite restaurant, complete with a menu tailor-made to you and your guests’ tastes.

A friend and I were invited to sample this experience at Martinez’ London flat. On entering we were greeted with an immaculately laid out table with flowers, pristine white table cloth and a sparkling set of cutlery and wine glasses. Martinez supplies cutlery, plates and linens as part of the service and is happy to meet any special requests and supply furniture.

Apart from Martinez’ experience as a chef, he has hosted many a dinner party and provides exceptionally friendly, entertaining service. All of the dishes were presented with flair and style. For my starter I had grilled haloumi, served on top of a portobello mushroom with grilled asparagus, courgettes and cherry tomatoes. The flavours complimented each other perfectly. My main was mussels alla marinara, cooked to perfection. And for pudding I had poached pear in a thin crispy pastry with yoghurt which was delicious.

The whole experience comes in at £35 a head, a great price to have the fine dining experience in your own home.
